Sales representatives usually work from home on their own time and purchase inventory to sell at in-person or online get-togethers. With MLM, the company forgoes the old-school physical retail or even online stores and uses sales representatives to distribute and sell their products instead. Multi-level marketing presents a distribution model that companies use to deliver their product to consumers. So - more.At PLR Hustle, we believe that there are better ways to make income working for yourself, – and we are ready to debunk the myths around MLM success with Total Life Changes.īefore diving into whether you can really make money with Total Life Changes, let’s take a look at what MLM is all about. I was only given a two day notice that my position would be terminated and I would be demoted. Because the company has lost so much money, in an attempt to cut costs, they started to condense every department and put people back in customer service. I was loyal to this company to a fault for almost three years only to have this company turn my life upside down in a day. I hustled hard on International and put my all into every task I was given. As much as I loved working with this company despite not agreeing with the route it took many times, I could see the favoritism for certain employees and it felt like my efforts never mattered. After a year and a half long and five frustrating attempts, I was finally promoted from customer service to the International Department as an International Team Lead. I watched many of my coworkers who hadn't been with the company as long as me and had no more experience than I had get promoted before me. I even lent my talents to this company with my voice, volunteered and co-hosted a number of shows. Things were pretty good for the first two years, however I spent a good year and a half deeply frustrated and disappointed with this company having worked my butt off in customer service and never formally given any sort of recognition. Taking some time out of most days to have fun was priority which everyone appreciated. What kept me for so long was that it was a different and unique culture with lots of diversity within the office. I worked for this company for just two months shy of three years, the longest I ever worked for any employer. I would definitely not have stayed as long as I did if I had other options at the time. If you weren’t a cheerleader with all the events they had during and after work hours or praising the executives like they were some kind of celebrity they made you feel as if you weren’t good enough or shouldn’t be part of the company regardless if you were a loyal hard worker. Being in charge of various countries in cases where we were not trained properly nor the proper protocols were being taken made me feel uncomfortable as I could see things were not being done “legally”. Getting in contact with the CEO because of the unprofessional ways of management and HR came to no avail as he too swept any issues under the rug as if you meant nothing as an employee. ![]() Not disclosing a pregnancy because of retaliation made it even more stressful as the executive in the international team took that into consideration when doing employee reviews. HR is a joke whenever a problem was brought up they would sweep it under the rug as they would show favoritism to the executives and did not prioritize employee equality nor followed any legal protocols properly. Management was so unprofessional and untrustworthy as they did not give raises when exceeding in your role but instead started new people at the same salary even after being there for a year or more. The pay and management however made the job terrible as they paid the same as a customer service rep with management responsibilities. As an international team lead it was fun and I learned a lot along the way.
